I am back at home in Portland after being a 2014-15 DAAD fellow in Berlin, Germany. I was the playwright-in-residence at English Theatre Berlin/International Performing Arts Center. The play I created there, Schlüterstraße 27 will be developed in May 2016 at PlayPenn, June 2016 at the New Harmony Project and then will world-premiere at ETB in October 2016.  Read about Schlüterstraße 27 here and here.

My Oregon wine play/Marivaux adaptation, Successful Strategies, will world premiere in July in Oregon at Theatre 33.

Time a Fair Hustler my second collaboration with hand2mouth theater company premiered in July, 2015 in Portland, Oregon. Pep Talk, my previous collaboration, has been touring nationally. We spent the fall of 2015 in residence at Playa Artists Residency working on Psychic Utopia, about intentional living communities in Oregon.

Ithaka won the 2015 Oregon Book Award in drama. Judge Naomi Iizuka calls it, “exquisitely written and striking in its emotional impact.” The play was the recipient of the $25,000 new play commission from Artists Repertory Theatre which also world premiered the work. Antarktikos won the 2013 Oregon Book Award and world premiered at Pittsburgh Playhouse. It  was published in the summer 2013 issue of Theatre Forum magazine.
